Prepositions of Place (Where?)

The big three are In, On, and At. Think of them as moving from general to specific: In (General/Enclosed): In a room, in a car, in the world, in a box. On (Surfaces/Lines): On the table, on the wall, on the street, on the menu. At (Specific Points): At the front door, at the bus stop, at the entrance.
