Last Monday, Sarah did not feel well. She had a sore throat and a headache. She also felt very tired. After two days, she decided to visit her doctor. At the clinic, the nurse checked Sarah’s temperature and blood pressure. Her temperature was a little high. When the doctor came in, he asked her some questions. He asked, “How long have you felt sick?” and “Do you have a cough?” Sarah explained that her throat hurt when she swallowed and that she felt weak. The doctor looked at her throat and listened to her breathing. He said she had a mild infection. He gave her some medicine and told her to rest at home for a few days. He also advised her to drink warm water and avoid cold drinks. Sarah went home and followed the doctor’s advice. She took the medicine on time and slept a lot. After three days, she felt much better. She was happy that she visited the doctor early. Now Sarah knows that when she feels sick for more than a few days, it is important to see a doctor and take care of her health.
